WHO WE ARE
Crep Chief Notify Limited ("CCN", "we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12360997, registered office Mya Business Services, PO BOX 280, Aberystwyth, Wales, SY23 9BX.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
Contact: office@crepchiefnotify.com
This policy covers our website at www.crepchiefnotify.com, our booking and sign-up pages at start.crepchiefnotify.com, the CCN mobile app on iOS and Android, and our botting mentorship programme including calls, messages and payments.
WHAT WE COLLECT AND WHY
Account and contact details
What: name, email address, phone number, country, and the marketing source you came from.
Why: to create your account, deliver the service, contact you about your subscription or a call you have booked, and provide support.
Legal basis: performance of a contract. Where you have not yet become a customer, legitimate interests in responding to an enquiry you made.
Subscription and purchase data
What: which plan you are on, purchase and renewal dates, price and currency, trial status, cancellations, refunds, and the store or processor used.
Why: to give you access to what you have paid for, handle renewals and cancellations, meet our tax and accounting obligations, and understand how the business is performing.
Legal basis: performance of a contract, and legal obligation for accounting records.
When you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those companies take your payment, not us. We receive confirmation of the purchase and its value. We never see your card details.
App usage data
What: device type and operating system, app version, device and advertising identifiers, push notification tokens, which screens and offers you saw, and which alerts you opened.
Why: to run the app, send the restock alerts you signed up for, decide which offers to show you, fix faults, and measure whether changes improve the product.
Legal basis: performance of a contract for core functionality, consent for push notifications and advertising identifiers, and legitimate interests in analytics and preventing abuse.
Calls, including recordings and transcripts
What: if you book or take a call with us, we record the call, produce a written transcript, and keep notes about what was discussed and agreed.
Why: to train and quality-check our team, to pick up where we left off on a later call, to keep an accurate record of what was agreed before you commit to a purchase, and to understand which questions come up most often.
Legal basis: legitimate interests in training, quality assurance and keeping an accurate record of pre-contract discussions. Where a call concerns a credit agreement, also performance of a contract and our regulatory obligations.
You will be told at the start of a call that it is being recorded. If you would rather not be recorded, tell us and we will stop the recording or arrange the conversation another way.
Automated analysis: we use an AI service (Anthropic) to summarise transcripts and flag what was discussed, so our team can follow up accurately. No decision affecting you is made by this analysis alone. A person always reviews it, and the analysis does not determine pricing, eligibility, or whether we will work with you.
Retention: call recordings are kept for 12 months. Transcripts and call notes are kept for 24 months, or for the life of your account plus 12 months, whichever is longer.
Messages
What: SMS, WhatsApp, email and Discord messages between you and us, including their delivery status.
Why: to answer you, to arrange and confirm calls, to tell you about drops and offers, and to keep a record of what was said.
Legal basis: performance of a contract for service messages. For marketing messages, consent, or the soft opt-in where you are an existing customer and we are telling you about similar products.
Opting out: reply STOP to any SMS, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us. Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages about a call you have booked or a subscription you hold.
Finance applications
What: if you apply to pay for the mentorship in instalments, the finance provider collects your personal, employment and financial details and runs a credit check.
Why: to assess your application.
Who: PayItMonthly is a separate data controller for your application and runs its own credit searches. We receive the outcome and the payment status, not your full application or your credit file.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
Please note that a credit application may leave a footprint on your credit file. If you have a mortgage or other credit application in progress, tell us and we will discuss alternatives.
Website and cookies
What: IP address, browser and device, pages viewed, referring site, and cookie identifiers.
Why: to run the site securely, measure traffic, and, with your consent, show you relevant advertising.
Legal basis: legitimate interests in security and basic analytics; consent for advertising and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
